This season of world cup downhill racing has been fantastic. Domination is fun once in a long while, but the toss up of any of half a dozen people winning on any given track is exciting as hell.

World Cup downhill can get anyone to stop what they are doing and watch with their jaw on the ground.
Nothing about spectating an enduro race will ever come close to watching downhill.
Edit- I feel like I should make it clear that I enjoy the photo coverage of enduro events by the better photographers out there. That feels like a good medium of coverage for that kind of racing. Video and being there… not so much. The photos crop out the sucky bits and editorial calls highlight the story aspect and for that I am thankful.
