Don’t forget to push the hardest gear that you can while you’re out there racing enduro this weekend.
I’m 75 lbs overweight and ride 1x/month. I also do my own bike maintenance. Recently I built a 2012 Ibis Mojo HD for Enduro and Super D racing and I began my build with a 2×10 drivetrain. But I never could get the front derailleur to work right, even though I spent hours on The Interwebz including HughTewb searching for tips on how to make a front derailleur work on an Ibis Mojo HD. Apparently it needs a special derailleur or something. But anyway since I was going to be racing Enduro and Super D at some point in the questionably foreseeable future, I figured I would set up my bike just like all the top American bros and so I pulled the 2×10 and ordered UP (see, I’m hip, I don’t order, I order UP) a SRAM 1×11 with a 34t front ring.
I tried to ride it in my driveway but my TrendBoi HRM/Wattmeter/smartfart/GPS told me I was in the RED ZONE by the 2d time my right foot was at the 12:00 spot on the crank cycle.
Sure does take a cool picture though, that bike. I got tons o’ props on MTBR, Ridemonkey, NSMB, pinkbike, bikerumor, instagram, twitter and facebook for how bitchin rad pimpy murdered blinged out it is.
Admit it, you envy me.
