Retard Strength In Numbers
Now look, Ian Morrison is a killer rider. No one will dispute this. After you’re done sitting through 40 seconds of pure anti-action, you’ll probably agree.
But then Retard Strength In Numbers goes and uses this clip of a non-landed jump to promote their video- they should have known better than to do that. They call it a “sizzle reel” not a god damn “woopsie reel”… I mean, you probably also should have known better than to have used those hum and buzz laden audio interview clips but whatever. Also probably should have known better than to have tried to make a $4,000 camera match the output from a $125,000 camera but whatever. Also should have known better than to have Shandro and that Mega dude pedal their dicks off through Nepal and not share any riding with the locals but whatever. Also should have known better than to have only had one and a half sections that conveyed the meaning of community but whatever.
No one in mountain biking is sophisticated enough to really care about these things so they will still sell a few dozen copies of the video, and it will still make Trek, Shimano, and Red Bull look really good. And in the end, that’s what matters.
